—The Swelling of a Sign—
What exists here and now;
faint memories touched upon somewhere, sometime;
things revealed and things concealed;
and the flow of time that runs through them all.
If you listen closely,
they rise up simultaneously,
and their delicate interweaving
spreads outward as a faint presence, trailing a lingering resonance.
AKAMATSU Tamame
This exhibition presents new paintings created in 2026 ̶centered on the “All at Once” series ̶ alongside works on paper created using watercolor and mixed media. Works of varying scales and materials resonate with one another within the shared space; the “signs” that emerge̶not only within the picture planes but also in the interplay between the artworks themselves and between the viewer and the art̶quietly shape the exhibition as a whole. We invite you to experience this exhibition.
